From the Owner

RZ Logistics began in August 2017 in Long Beach, CA as a freight brokerage that specialized in drayage / inland containers out of the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. We did a successful job and started to notice that our customers were asking us if we also could transload and do the long hauls for them. As the owner, I had 10 years experience as a freight broker already and decided in 2019 to move to Las Vegas and focus more on expedited freight throughout North America.

In 2019 we partnered with RR Donnelly to offer a combination of land, sea, and air freight options throughout North America. This allowed us the financial resources and carrier capacity we needed to grow. By 2021, TFI had acquired UPS Freight (LTL Division) as well as RR
Donnelley and we underwent some minor changes. Our main vision by this time was to provide more specialized services like expedited, tradeshow, and white glove services that until then we were unable to offer.

Now in 2025, we have noticed that reliability, honesty, and on time performance are still the reasons why people choose to work with us. Yes, there’s AI and new technology coming out daily but it hasn’t really made to much of an impact on us. Yes our rates are very competitive and we have had customers choose to try other shipment options with lower rates, but we know that by providing good service daily is what our customers expect.
